I tried taking a long-exposure photo of the moon last summer. I love it, even though it’s just shot with my meek and humble all-purpose lens. The moon looks like a spotted white gooseberry.

i love this! very dramatic, great job in capturing this side of the moon! Can I steal this picture for my blog??@#$% hehehe-! well, I am serious… i have an article I am working on about horoscopes and moons, this would be the perfect picture. I’ll show this picture to Markus later. He’s out with dad for his swimming lessons today. He’s into astronomy (like mom) and fascinated by asteroids, meteors and satellites/moons… he will be thrilled!

@Joy, Yup he is into astronomy, among other things. I should say that he loved building the Lego Castle (and Knight)that you gave him, was it from last year or was it the other year? For 6 years old daw kasi kaya ngayon nya lang binuksan, alam mo naman ito #1 in following instructions at si “Saway”. hahaha! We have to set a date soon, before you go back to AZ. I will be in Montreal next week, maybe we could plan the week of 18th?

@Nemcy, Thanks girl! Parang di ko pa nakita yung ganyan na moon sa Pinas. When I shot this, it was huge and bright up there.
