Author's Description:
April 2009 marks our family’s 10 years here in Vancouver — our (new) “roots” and home. Has it really been that long? I can still remember rather feeling sick of having to stay in Vancouver for extended periods of time, much less during its winters. You won’t hear (many) complaints for me now. Not only have I learned to love Vancouver, but Vancouver has convinced me that it’s okay I abhored it before.
This was taken in May 2006 in Stanley Park. I love biking around that park by myself or with friends and family, but this time I was on my own. [I don't know who that guy is buy he sure was enjoying himself and I wanted to catch that...shhh.] If I consider myself an artist, I would say that Vancouver is my muse. A very beautiful muse at that.
I love sharing MY Vancouver, there is no doubt about it. Come one, come all! Tomorrow, a good ol’ friend from my university days of field notebooks and sample picks, will be visiting Canada for the first time. I sure hope I get to live up to my constant bragging about this city. Now if only we could do something about that pouring rain this week…tsk, tsk.
Photography notes: Taken with a Nikon Coolpix5200. I think I also just bought that baby around that time, too!

Got something constructive to say?
