Author's Description:

When I go out for some nature-fix, I like taking the “big picture” (literally) as well as the small ones. I enjoy looking for small things I could focus on. These flowers are just some of them. They were about a centimeter in width or less. If it were not for the bright colors and happy disposition (don’t you agree?), one could easily miss them. I love finding these treasures. Now if only I knew what they are called.

Have a good Saturday, everyone!

Photo notes: Taken at the Bellevue Botanical Garden in June 2008 with a Nikon D80.

I agree ~ the more detailed photos bring back the memories just as well. Like the plants pushing through the soil where you lay back on a fallen tree trunk, etc. I like the wispy detail on the stems here ~ something you might definitely have otherwise passed by. & the stems are pink too! Lovely image.
