Author's Description:

This was taken at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden last January. Quite the opposite of the winter scenery in Canada, of course. It was cool, but not anywhere near Vancouver’s near-zero to negative temperatures. The sun was bright and very dry. My suede boots became the wonderful color of fine dust.
