It was the morning of the first real blanket of snow this winter. A good friend of mine, his girlfriend, and I, went out to Courtenay, BC for the weekend. We are all so busy and they’re leaving town for Christmas, so we headed there to enjoy the weekend and each other’s company before the real crazy season begins. It was a nice beginning for the season. This as a few minutes walk from the house. It’s going to be a resort in a few month’s time. It kind of makes me sad to know that it might be a clearing the next time I’m in the area. But for now, I’ll just enjoy it for the simple beauty it shared with us.
